Calappa (Red-Streaked Box Crab)
This crab lives 30-60 meter below sea level, from the Boso Peninsula to Okinawa Island. It has an adapted right pincer that features a pointy protrusion. It uses this as an opener to break open snail shells.
During the daytime, it hides in the sand and keeps only its eyes above the surface.
